We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Reman Trades Assistant to join our East Reman Support team at Komatsu Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our skilled tradespeople within the Reman section of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Support experienced tradespeople in the Reman section, assisting with tasks and projects as required.
- Maintain and organize the Reman yard to ensure it is up to production standard.
- Receive and distribute incoming parts to all departments.
- Dispatch all outbound parts/subcon/components, ensuring compliance with QLD transport requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Komatsu components and carry out repairs to the highest quality.
- Follow Standard Work Procedures (SWPs) and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of timesheets, service reports, and relevant documentation.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Forklift ticket (advantageous).
- Hydraulic experience (preferred).
- Riggers/Dogger ticket would be advantageous but not essential.
- A 'can do' attitude and positive outlook.
- Basic level of computer literacy, troubleshooting skills, safe manual handling techniques, and risk assessment process and hazard identification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety within the workplace.
