Job Title: Food Service Attendant

About the Role:

As a Food Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation within our catering department. Your primary responsibility will be to work as a team member across all areas of the department, ensuring seamless delivery of meals to our customers.

  • Maintain accurate food preparation levels at all times to meet our department's standards.
  • Ensure timely delivery of meals to customers while adhering to quality control measures.
  • Maintain correct presentation of meals and products in line with our catering department's standards.
  • Exercise portion control on all meals and products served.
  • Assist with dishwashing duties, including washing large heavy-duty pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
  • Practice and observe all aspects of food, kitchen, and personal hygiene.
  • Contribute to general kitchen hygiene maintenance by washing walls, floors, refrigerators, etc., in front and back-of-house areas as required.
  • Support the training and orientation of new colleagues as directed.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Food Service Lead.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess relevant experience in food and meal preparation in fast-paced environments. Additionally, you should have working knowledge of safe manual handling principles and be physically capable of undertaking duties, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
