The successful candidate will be based in Wagga Wagga, working Monday to Friday and may need to work non-traditional hours in line with construction works.
Key Responsibilities
The role is responsible for developing and implementing People & Culture initiatives to support project delivery priorities and company objectives. This includes providing guidance and advice on legislative changes and interpretations of P&C policies and procedures to the management and leadership team. Additionally, the advisor will build and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders, facilitate training and coaching for employees, and coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and selection process. They will also work closely with P&C admin to manage employee changes, coach and influence hiring managers and leaders on the project, and model constructive working relationships and information exchange within the team and stakeholders.
About You
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture professional with at least 4 years' experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to interpret employment contracts and knowledge of relevant employment legislation. Experience within the engineering/construction industry is desirable, but not essential. Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft office programs are required, as well as a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and a medical assessment prior to commencement.
