Job Description

This role involves preparing high-quality food and providing excellent dining services to our residents, ensuring a high quality of life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation, serving meals, and assisting residents as required.
  • Supporting colleagues and maintaining a cooperative team environment.
  • Working safely to protect oneself, colleagues, and residents, following all policies and procedures.
About The Role
  • Passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential.
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
