Job Title: Mental Health Professional
Cumberland Hospital is seeking a skilled mental health professional to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team. As a mental health registered nurse, you will support recovery and holistic well-being of clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide therapeutic mental health care that promotes recovery, safety and well-being in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct assessment, planning, and evaluation of treatment.
- Build supportive relationships with clients and families.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience working with people presenting with an acute mental health problem.
- Advanced reasoning skills with ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act 2007.
