About The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Professional Indemnity/Financial Lines team. In this role, you'll defend various claims across legal, financial services, construction, and allied health industries, working closely with our Partners. Your practice focus will range from Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines to Medical Negligence & Construction Insurance matters.

Key Requirements

  1. Minimum 6 years of experience in defendant insurance gained within a recognized Australian law firm;
  2. Strong file management skills and excellent communication abilities;
  3. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships;
  4. Enthusiasm for mentoring and a collaborative approach to work.

Responsibilities

  1. Defend claims across various industries, including legal, financial services, construction, and allied health;
  2. Work closely with Partners to develop and implement effective defense strategies;
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
