Network Security Solutions Architect

This role involves designing and implementing network security solutions to safeguard against potential threats. It encompasses the provisioning, deployment, configuration, and administration of various network and security-related products and solutions.

  • Configure a range of equipment, including Cisco, FortiGate, and Meraki, to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Commission new sites to establish secure connections between locations.
  • Support the Service Desk in analyzing and resolving technical issues, identifying mitigations to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist with Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs); perform ad-hoc network programming or software upgrades as needed.
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve problems or study new offerings.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation on design, implementation, and reporting regularly.
  • 5+ years of experience in network and security, with a proven track record of technologies such as Firewalls, Routing & Switching.
  • Understanding of network security technologies like NGFW, IPSec, SSL/TLS, NAT, IDS/IPS.
  • Hands-on experience formulating network design artefacts.
  • A good understanding or experience with SD-WAN and SASE technologies and solutions.
  • Supporting cloud infrastructure like Azure and AWS.
  • Prioritisation, time management, and organisational skills for efficient task execution.
  • Ability to work autonomously but also as part of a team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communications skills and attention to detail.

Desirable qualifications include IT certifications, CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, CCNA Security, and/or NSE4 in Fortinet. Alternatively, 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
