
Electrical Engineering Expert

This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic problem solver with excellent influencing skills to contribute to Asset Management engineering efficiency improvements and upgrades.
You will work collaboratively with team members and key stakeholders across the business including operations and maintenance to drive improvements for both fixed and mobile plant assets on site through operational and capital planning processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of electrical engineers and reliability officers on site to achieve their goals
- Drive improvements for both fixed and mobile plant assets on site through operational and capital planning processes
- Provide expert electrical and instrumentation engineering support to meet operational needs, bringing diverse perspectives to problem-solving
- Ensure asset management best practices are safely utilised to achieve required performance for assets site wide
- Guide the development, review process and governance of asset whole of life plans and tactics for onsite process and statutory assets to ensure compliance and production targets are met
- Direct and oversee asset non-performance and failure investigations to ensure root causes are identified and addressed
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A passion and enthusiasm to continually improve with balancing risk, production and cost
- Tertiary Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years' experience in project or maintenance engineering
- Strong knowledge of asset management, maintenance and reliability processes & systems
- A passion for mentoring and providing development pathways for your team
- A 9-day fortnight working roster with lots of flexibility to suit you
