Role Responsibilities

As a Regional Assessment Service (RAS) Officer, your primary responsibility will be to conduct home visits for elderly community members, evaluating their eligibility for government-funded home care support, ensuring they can maintain their independence.

Key Duties Include:
  • Conduct assessments for individuals from diverse and vulnerable backgrounds, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and indigenous communities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of client records within organizational management systems and the My Aged Care (MAC) Assessor Portal.
  • Actively engage in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the RAS team.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Certificate IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Social Services (preferred).
  • Valid Victorian Driver's License.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
  • Access to a registered vehicle with minimum third-party insurance.
  • Willingness to travel within the service delivery area.
