Powerline Technician

We are seeking a skilled Distribution Lineworker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and maintaining distribution electricity networks in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner.

1. Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams to ensure accurate implementation.
2. Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems, and HSE procedures.
3. Participate in emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong technical knowledge and experience working on overhead and underground line networks. Additionally, you should hold a current VIC Electrical Licence and Cert III in line worker, as well as a valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable). You will be required to travel within the state, including overnight or longer stays as required, and conduct work outdoors in various types of weather.
