The Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join the Evidence, Evaluation, and Performance team (EE&P). This role will involve leading and optimising data-focused work to provide improved service for the organisation and support strategic decision-making.

  • This position requires exceptional collaboration, stakeholder management, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • You will develop, implement, and deliver data, reporting, and analytics across a range of educational projects and school learning environment initiatives.
About You
  • You possess strong analytical skills and knowledge, with the ability to utilise analytical tools to provide sound advice and guidance to stakeholders on best practice.
  • With excellent attention to detail, you are able to monitor and manage continuous improvement, contributing to the effectiveness of learning environment initiatives.
  • You have demonstrated ability to correctly explain data analysis and outcomes into layman's terms, and familiarity with Power BI and statistical applications, such as SPSS, R, and Stata.
Essential Requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent workplace experience.
