The Assistant in Nursing is a vital member of the nursing team, supporting the delivery of person-centered care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Registered Nurse in delivering person-centered care under their direction and supervision.

- Identifying and resolving conflict situations in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- A current Health Service Assistant Certificate III (Acute Care) or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated understanding of delegation and ability to work within a plan of care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to provide person-centered care in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations.
