About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing bar team, maintaining our high drink standards, and ensuring an unforgettable guest experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume bar or hospitality venue, a passion for cocktails and premium beverage service, and strong leadership and communication skills. You will also have a hands-on, team-oriented attitude with a focus on training and development, and a keen eye for detail and commitment to consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Bar Manager in leading a high-performing bar team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with training and development to ensure consistency and quality in all beverages.
  • Maintain stock control, ordering, and inventory management to optimize bar efficiency.
  • Uphold health and safety standards, including liquor licensing compliance, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with Venue Managers to monitor KPIs and enhance operational performance.
  • Deliver an outstanding guest experience, ensuring speed, consistency, and creativity in drink service.
  • Oversee bar presentation, cleanliness, and efficiency, ensuring a seamless workflow.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in a high-volume bar or hospitality venue.
  • Possession of relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., WSET, bartending courses).
  • Proven track record of leading teams and driving results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
