Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to deliver engineering solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and hold Chartered Engineer status (CPEng or equivalent).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver detailed designs for water and waste projects including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and managed aquifer recharge schemes.
  • Provide technical mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Ensure design compliance with relevant standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and sustainable solutions.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Australian water industry standards and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to lead others while contributing to a vibrant team.
