Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Parramatta, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing caseloads, conducting assessments, and developing return-to-work plans. Your expertise in psychology or rehabilitation counseling will enable you to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of clients with various injury types and health conditions;
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify suitable employment opportunities and develop return-to-work plans;
  • Collaborate with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health experts to ensure effective communication and coordination;
  • Work across multiple schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs to promote workplace safety and reduce the risk of injury;
  • Provide support and guidance to clients throughout their rehabilitation journey, addressing psychosocial barriers to employment and promoting empowerment;

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counseling;
  • General or Provisional registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with ASORC;
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills, including empathy, kindness, and compassion;
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance;
