The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, leading culinary innovation, mentoring and inspiring the kitchen team, collaborating with the management team, managing kitchen finances, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, partnering with local suppliers, staying current with culinary trends, and innovating to keep our restaurant at the forefront of the dining scene.
Qualifications and SkillsTo succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in a similar position, preferably within a hotel industry, a culinary degree or equivalent professional certification, a Food Safety Supervisor certificate, strong knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP management, and compliance with local health and safety regulations, flexibility to work across a range of shifts, strong culinary skills, a passion for creating exceptional dishes, strong financial acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, a passion for culinary excellence, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to changing needs and trends.
