We are seeking a highly skilled Guidance Navigation Control (GNC) engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge flight control systems for advanced rockets.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of engineers and contribute to the development of next-generation spacecraft capable of carrying humans to Mars and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have experience with GNC systems, orbital mechanics, classical dynamics, modeling, and simulation. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or C++ are also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative GNC systems for Starship
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and design vehicle systems architectures
  • Implement new software or algorithms to enable mission-unique capabilities and leading-edge launch vehicle performance
  • Analyze launch vehicle trajectories, performance dispersions, and flight stability
  • Conduct post-flight data review and correlation with analyses for continued improvement of predictions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in physics or an engineering discipline AND 5+ years of professional experience
  • Strong background in control systems, orbital mechanics, classical dynamics, modeling, and simulation
  • Experience with Python or C++ programming languages
