The Terminal Transition Manager plays a crucial role in this initiative by overseeing the transition of terminal operations from the current facility operator to Bayside Group.

This position entails providing comprehensive management oversight, integration, and support across various workstreams, ensuring that the transition aligns with regulatory and internal compliance standards.

This contract role promises a dynamic range of responsibilities, necessitating exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence and integrate diverse teams. The role requires leading multiple workstreams across various business domains, including operations, maintenance, engineering, production planning, and health, safety, and environment (HSE).

Required Experience:

  • Oversight of project management related to terminal transition activities.
  • Proven experience in leading diverse, multi-skilled teams.
  • Expertise in supporting transition objectives and milestones, facilitating the removal of barriers, and ensuring alignment among various workstreams.
  • Experience in engaging with relevant stakeholders, including internal and external parties, contracting partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Proficiency in site communication and change management during transitions, assisting site leaders in guiding their teams through changes.
  • Experience in managing change processes to implement transition outcomes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and engagement.

Preferred Experience / Education:

  • Degree in Engineering or Business is essential.
  • Experience in leading business transitions or operational readiness is crucial.
  • Background in change management is highly valued.
  • Experience in refining, oil & gas, or chemical operations is desirable.
  • Demonstrated safety leadership, particularly in managing hazardous facilities.
  • Ability to demonstrate care for personnel and support organizations through complex changes.
  • Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills to align team objectives and resolve issues in line with organizational values.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and capable of engaging stakeholders constructively.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and tools for effective reporting and oversight.
