Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Designer and Estimator to join our team at our QLD site.

This role is an exciting opportunity to expand your design capabilities while being part of a great team and working environment as we enter the digital print market.

You will be responsible for designing product packaging and basic graphics for visualisation and concept presentations, as well as products for custom applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing product packaging and basic graphics for visualisation and concept presentations.
  • Supporting the creation of product illustrations, concept sketches, diagrams, design specifications and technical drawings.
  • Evaluating design ideas considering appearance, design-function relationships, serviceability, materials and methods engineering, application, budget, price, production costs, methods of production, market characteristics, and client specifications.
  • Providing day to day quoting support to our sales team members.
  • Contributing and participating in the tender process from initial quoting through to commercial analysis.
  • Improving customer margin by identifying cost savings opportunities on new and existing materials.

As a key contact in project work that requires quoting, costing and onboarding of customers, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
