The Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to join our Compliance and Carrier Performance team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing the carrier performance process and monitoring compliance across our carrier network.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the carrier performance process and monitoring compliance across our carrier network
  • Completing internal audits of our CoR system, risk register, and monitoring/ensuring compliance with our CoR system and audit program with carrier partners and our business functions
  • Conducting claims and CoR investigations with the support of our external CoR partner/consultant and in-house legal counsel
  • Supporting our carriers and Operations team in ensuring high levels of performance across agreed service levels and compliance

You'll also be involved in ad-hoc projects to support our continued strive towards sustainability and social impact goals, compliance against these, which involves our extensive carrier network.

Your Skillset

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous road transport experience (5 years)
  • Experience in CoR and compliance, investigations, audits, and food safety/DG
  • Experience working for a carrier and/or managing carrier sub-contractors
  • A strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple and conflicting stakeholder priorities
  • Commitment to driving sustainable freight practices
  • Understanding of contract terms, risk, and compliance
  • Data-driven reporting and decision-making
  • Previous claims management experience (desirable)
