Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Childcare Support Worker. This role will involve working with young people who exhibit challenging behaviour in a residential children's home.

  • The ideal candidate will be flexible, resilient, honest, and well-organised, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality childcare.
  • They will work an average of 38 hours per week, with a shift pattern involving two days on and four days off, plus two sleep-ins per week.
  • Eligible for generous allowances for bank holidays, overtime hours, and performance-related bonuses.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Full manual driving licence
  • Able to work independently with high accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and positive teamwork attitude
  • Empathetic nature
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and encourage young people

  • Will to work towards fully funded qualification in Level 3 Children and Young People
