About the Opportunity

Aussie Fluid Power, a Questas Group company, is seeking a Commercial Manager to champion and support our commercial interests in Western Australia.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have strong financial and commercial experience, with the ability to manage change effectively and drive impactful strategies. They will be responsible for providing leadership in financial and commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

This role involves driving the business's data and digital journey, leveraging insights for decision-making. The successful candidate will also negotiate terms and conditions to achieve favourable outcomes, develop pricing strategies for labour, equipment, and projects to maximise profitability, and lead the development and management of a Commercial Services Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership in financial and commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive the business's data and digital journey, leveraging insights for decision-making.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions (T&Cs) to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Develop pricing strategies for labour, equipment, and projects to maximise profitability.
  • Lead the development and management of a Commercial Services Department, focusing on efficiency and value delivery.

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong financial and commercial experience.
  • Proven ability to manage change effectively.
  • Strategic acumen with the ability to develop and execute impactful strategies.
  • Digitally savvy with experience in driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Resource market experience, particularly in the mining or oil and gas sectors.
  • Leadership and management capabilities, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Commerce, Business, or similar).

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
