Delivery Driver Position

This role involves delivering orders to customers and ensuring the timely receipt of goods at our stores.

  • Upon receiving deliveries, check them against the delivery docket or invoice to ensure accuracy.
  • Unload orders, unpack them, and receive/dispatch them in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandisers and Replenishment Team to move stock to designated areas on the sales floor or storeroom.
  • Operate a forklift as required by the role.
  • Communicate with the Office Administration Manager to rectify any errors or returns related to goods delivered.
  • Notify customers when their orders have been received.
  • Prepare supplier credits/warranties for returned items monthly.
  • Regularly check backorders and follow up with suppliers as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork for all stock movements, including receipts, returns, and new orders.
  • Collect goods from various Total Tools stores, process invoices, deliver externally to customers, and internally to other Total Tools stores.
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring the receipt of goods is accurately recorded and processed.
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication.
  • Working effectively within a team environment.
  • Developing strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
Requirements
  • A valid Medium Rigid Driver's Licence endorsement is preferred but not essential.
  • A Forklift Licence is also highly desirable.
  • The ability to multitask and handle competing demands is crucial.
  • Reliability and punctuality are must-haves for this role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
