Financial Crime and Compliance Specialist

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data related to anti-money laundering investigations. The Financial Crime and Compliance Specialist will play a crucial part in creating dashboards and reports to support AML operations and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AML concepts, typologies, and regulatory requirements. They should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Experience with NetReveal or similar AML transaction monitoring tools is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets.
  • Support the optimization of AML transaction monitoring systems such as NetReveal.
  • Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to identify patterns and trends in financial data.
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and reports to support AML operations and regulatory reporting.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in writing complex SQL queries and working with large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of AML concepts, typologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with NetReveal or similar AML transaction monitoring tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
