Job Opportunity: Underground Driller

Boart Longyear is the world's leading provider of drilling services and performance tooling for mining companies globally. The company operates in over 40 countries with a diverse customer base spanning a wide range of commodities, including copper, gold, and other metals and minerals.

We are seeking Underground Diamond Drillers with directional and deep hole experience. We require self-motivated candidates with a strong commitment to Health & Safety.

About the Role:

  • Vacancies across Australia
  • 2/1 or 2/2 roster with rotating shifts
  • Conducting drilling operations over a 12-hour shift
  • Leading drill crews and training of Driller Assistants
  • Daily pre-start equipment checks and general maintenance
  • Setting up drill pads and coordinating rig moves
  • Completion of safety documentation and compliance with safe work practices

The Successful Candidate Must Possess:

  • Previous underground Diamond Drilling experience essential
  • Previous experience with directional and/or deep hole drilling preferred
  • Experience working on LM rigs preferred
  • Current Driver's License
  • National Police Clearance or ability to obtain
  • First Aid and CPR certificate desirable
  • Certificate III in Drilling desirable
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical
  • Right to work in Australia
