About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer/Numerical Modeller to join our team at Peopleconnexion. As a key member of our consulting firm, you will contribute to geotechnical consulting projects and assist in the development of geotechnical models and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake field investigations and associated travel as required
  • Process and analyse field data
  • Develop and analyse geotechnical models
  • Perform numerical modelling and communicate results internally and to clients
  • Handle complex 3D geometry and meshing
Requirements
  • Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. degree in Geotechnical, Geomechanics, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Expertise in geotechnical modelling and analysis
  • Proficiency with numerical modelling software, including Itasca (FLAC3D and/or 3DEC), Rocscience (RS3 and Slide3), Plaxis 3D, or equivalent packages
  • Experience with 3D CAD Software such as Rhino3D or AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with coding in Python, VBA, and Matlab is preferred
