About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you will drive enterprise cloud transformation in AWS, combining strategic vision with hands-on leadership to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud technology strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Govern complex AWS cloud transformation programs, balancing technical depth with strategic oversight, to ensure successful client outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with C-suite and senior executives, positioning us as a trusted partner for long-term transformation
  • Provide strategic technology advisory on cloud digital transformation themes such as data, security, and operating model evolution
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities to expand our services and co-creating transformation roadmaps with clients
  • Stay current with emerging trends in cloud modernization, data, hybrid cloud architecture, and DevSecOps, and translate these into actionable strategies for clients
  • Represent our point of view on cloud transformation at client briefings, industry events, and partner forums, through developing frameworks, accelerators, and position papers
  • Mentor and develop consultants, growing the next generation of cloud and technology leaders
  • Share expertise across the organization, ensuring alignment with global best practices while adapting to the Australian Financial Services market
Requirements
  • Extensive experience leading cloud transformation programs (such as: cloud migration, modernization, multi-cloud adoption, cloud FinOps)
  • Broad technology leadership background covering areas such as enterprise architecture, application modernization, data platforms, or digital operating models
  • Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives and represent a strategic technology point of view in boardroom discussions
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills, with a track record of driving growth
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to guide both business and technical stakeholders
  • Appropriate certifications in Cloud technologies
