Principal Water Engineer

Are you a Chartered Professional Engineer with a passion for designing and delivering smart, resilient outcomes in the water sector? Do you have expertise in various aspects of civil engineering, including study involvement, budget development, schedule management, and scope definition?

We are seeking a Principal Civil Engineer - Water Pipelines to join our national water business. You will be part of a team that delivers innovative and successful solutions for our clients, building strong client relationships and demonstrating your ability to understand our clients' core business.

  • Expertise in various aspects of civil engineering, including study involvement, budget development, schedule management, and scope definition.
  • Experience in the scoping and development of engineering work packages, including time-based estimates for deliverables.
  • An interest in and experience in strengthening and growing existing client connections and supporting the building of relevant new relationships, as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Ability to understand clients' core business and ensure services meet their expectations.
  • A working style that embraces collaborating with other disciplines to bring together the best technical expertise from across a business.
  • Relevant industry knowledge, innovation, and thought leadership.
About This Role

You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and gained a strong understanding of water/wastewater industry standards and best practices. You'll have highly organized with outstanding technical and communication skills, a desire and ability to lead and mentor a team, and drive successful project outcomes for our clients.
