Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at our Mornington Hospital. As an Overnight Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

• Monitor patient comfort and vital signs, maintaining accurate records.
• Administer medications as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Provide gentle care to patients, including toileting, exercise, and cleaning.
• Maintain CRI's, fluid therapy, urinary catheters, patient drains, and other equipment.
• Update patient records and communicate with clients regarding their pet's care.
• Maintain a high standard of ward organisation and cleanliness.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification, plus 2 years of experience.
• A professional and positive attitude, with excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work efficiently, using initiative both individually and as part of a team.
• Exceptional organisational skills, with attention to detail.
• An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures.
