As a key member of the Australia Post team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of our property portfolio.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Group Property function, providing expert advice on strategic property development, management and optimisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes, including cost savings and efficient use of resources.

The ideal candidate will have advanced commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of real estate principles and practices. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is a strategic thinker, with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems. You will be confident in your ability to analyse data, identify trends and make informed recommendations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our finance and procurement teams to drive business value and improve efficiency. You will also be involved in key projects, such as the Retail Modernisation strategy, and will have a significant impact on the future direction of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on strategic property development, management and optimisation.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes, including cost savings and efficient use of resources.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and make informed recommendations.
  • Work closely with finance and procurement teams to drive business value and improve efficiency.
  • Be involved in key projects, such as the Retail Modernisation strategy.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting.
  • Membership of CPA or Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 years of financial advisory and/or financial control/accounting experience, preferably with exposure to the property industry.
  • Well-developed business partnering skills and a proven track record of working with non-financial senior stakeholders delivering outcomes.
