Mechanical Engineering Role

This is a dynamic role where you will contribute to the design of technology products for construction machines. You will be part of an international team and collaborate with engineers to create innovative solutions.

  • You will work closely with our engineering teams in the Civil Construction space, enabling Trimble Earthworks and other CCFS products to work on construction machines found locally in Australia.
  • Developing mechanical systems through documentation and technical drawings.
  • Conducting design verification, qualification testing, and optimization of mechanical structures.
  • Creating detailed assembly instructions and technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with the global team to resolve complex problems and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable professional experience as a mechanical engineer relevant to their level.
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling packages like ProEngineer/Creo.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with the global team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Google Workspace apps.
  • Ability to self-learn and work autonomously.
  • Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, Wifi, and Serial communication protocols.
