Evergreen Approach: Mental Health Practitioner Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Monash Health. As an Embedded AOD Clinician, you will play a vital role in implementing therapeutic interventions that reduce substance-related harm and improve mental and physical health.

The Role

This exciting opportunity involves working as part of our Community-based Recovery Team, providing evidence-based interventions on an individual and group basis. You will work closely with residents, PARCS staff, and other stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in community-based mental health assessment, recovery-oriented practice, and supported decision-making. You will have experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with acute and chronic mental health conditions.

  • You will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
  • You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve optimal outcomes.
What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary package, including:

  • A base salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
  • A generous superannuation contribution of 10% of your base salary.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • You will hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing or a related field.
  • You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in community-based mental health settings.
  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
