Automotive Electrician Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Automotive Electrician to fill a key role in our organization.
Job Summary:
This position involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mobile equipment. As an Automotive Electrician, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining our underground mining operations' productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled servicing on mobile equipment in a safe manner, adhering to procedures, regulations, and service sheets;
- Utilize expertise and experience to minimize downtime on machinery;
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of maintenance activities;
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping in workshop and working areas, ensuring all parts are kept at minimal stock levels;
- Read and interpret Service and Spare Parts manuals;
- Report equipment faults to the Maintenance Supervisor for scheduling into the workshop weekly;
Requirements:
- Demonstrated passion for safety and proactive attitude toward prioritizing employee safety at all times;
- Solid knowledge of Sandvik U/G Development/Production Drills and Loaders;
- Experience working with Caterpillar Underground Loaders;
- Proven understanding of remote control systems (RCT or Automine);
- Experience training less qualified tradespeople to a high standard in a high-productivity underground contracting mining environment;
- Strong background working with latest generation underground mobile equipment and associated automation systems;
- At least 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience working within the underground mining industry on large mobile equipment;
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision;
- Excellent service and maintenance approach to the job;
- International Driver's License;
