Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will have expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organisational skills.

  • Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services with the assistance of an OTA.
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance participants' quality of life.

About Your Responsibilities
  • Mentor and nurture early career clinicians.
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills.
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
