We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team, providing personalized care and support to individuals in their homes.

Job Description

The Support Worker will work independently, assisting clients with daily living activities, such as showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompts. They will also provide domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.

In addition, the Support Worker will provide social support and transportation, accompanying clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities. They will also help clients use aids and personal equipment, such as standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, and hearing aids.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required)

Other Requirements

The Support Worker must be able to work between 6am-6pm, Monday to Friday, and have a reliable vehicle for transporting clients. They must also have a smartphone with internet access.
