Groundwater Modelling Team Lead Position

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead our groundwater modelling team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in numerical modelling, hydrogeological conceptualisation, and groundwater impact assessment.

About the Role

As Groundwater Modelling Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of 11 professionals across three offices in Australia.
  • Collaborating with state-based groundwater and surface water team leaders to deliver solutions for clients.
  • Working closely with the Technical Discipline Manager (TDM) and Hydrogeology Technical Directors to implement business plans and align with global strategic priorities.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can motivate their staff, develop their careers, and build strong client relationships.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a hydrogeologist, including consultancy experience.
  • An appropriate Engineering or Science tertiary qualification.
  • A strong technical background in numerical modelling, hydrogeological conceptualisation, groundwater impact assessment, and hydrogeological investigation.

You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
