Contract: 3 months

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days WFH)
Department: State Government Department

Role Overview:
Conduct internal financial audits for organisations relevant to the department, covering the entire audit process from planning to reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute internal financial audits

• Evaluate internal control systems and financial processes

• Identify areas for improvement in financial operations

• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings and recommendations

• Collaborate with department stakeholders and audited organisations

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

• Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and best practices

Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualification (preferred)

• Experience in internal auditing, preferably in government or public sector

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools

• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
