Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver consignments to various customer sites, including major distribution centers, shopping centers, wholesalers, and businesses.
  • Perform both local and shuttle duties as required.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Complete the secure delivery of items within specified time frames.
  • Follow company procedures associated with pre-start checks, restraint of loads, and securing of vehicles.
  • Adhere to stringent security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).
Requirements
  • Current HR license essential.
  • Previous experience performing local deliveries within the region.
  • A 'Can Do' attitude with a high standard of customer service.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of the local area.
  • Ability to follow DHL policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to provide a current full driving record when requested.
  • Willingness to undergo a security clearance and pre-employment medical as part of the recruitment process.
