The role of the Theatre Coordinator is a vital part of our veterinary service.

About the Role

This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of surgical and surgery-related procedures. They will work closely with surgeons, ophthalmologists, neurologists, anaesthetists, nurses, and the wider theatre support team to deliver high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective task management and prioritization
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Ensuring the efficient running of the theatre space and surgeries
  • Delivering exceptional patient care

Requirements:

  • A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is required
  • A minimum of 4 years of full-time experience as a qualified nurse is necessary
  • A good understanding and experience of peri-operative services are highly desirable
