Job Title: HSEQ Lead

Our client, a leading company in the rail industry, is seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Lead to support a major ongoing project. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and Development of HSE Documentation: Conduct thorough reviews of existing HSE documentation and develop new procedures, plans, and documents to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Site Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Advice and Support: Provide expert advice and support to project teams to ensure the adoption of best practices and industry standards.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, management, and project team members, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • HSE Incident Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into HSE incidents to identify contributing factors and present findings to relevant forums.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualification: Hold a tertiary qualification in OH&S/WHS or relevant onsite experience.
  • Industry Experience: Possess experience in coordinating HSE within a rail or construction industry.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills and concise report writing abilities.
  • Risk Management: Have relevant experience in risk management.
