The South Burnett Regional Council is seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to provide professional financial administrative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable functions, including matching and checking supplier/creditor invoices against requisitions.
  • Undertake accounts receivable functions, including generating invoices as requested and ensuring correct accounting treatment of costings and GST.
  • Process supplier/creditor invoice details into the council's business system.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a computerised accounting environment undertaking accounts payable/receivable functions in a medium-sized organisation.
  • High level of keyboard and computer skills with proven experience in a high-volume data entry environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.

Mandatory: Current C Class driver's licence. Desirable: Certificate III in Financial Services or Business Administration.
