Job Description

The GIS Analyst will play a crucial role in managing, coordinating, and analyzing GIS databases to contribute to better transport outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining quality documentation of analysis, methodology, and findings
  • Creating, analyzing, and presenting spatial data
  • Automating project workflows and data integrations
  • Providing GIS SME, GIS development, and GIS data modeling input to stakeholders and projects
  • Developing innovative spatial solutions to projects

Essential Technical Skills

The successful candidate will have expertise in ArcGIS or other GIS software, ETL tools (such as FME), BI tools (Tableau, SAP Business Objects), APIs, SQL, and programming languages (JavaScript, Python).

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this role, applicants must possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, have the capacity to operate independently and as a team member, and demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and judgment while maintaining a strong customer service approach.
