The Western Ridge Crusher Project
CPB Contractors, in alliance with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV), has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project. This project involves the construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems on our construction sites. You will work closely with our project teams to identify and resolve electrical issues, and contribute to the success of our projects.
Requirements
- Trade Qualification – Automotive Electrical or similar
- Hold unit of competency - CPCWHS1001, Prepare to work safety in the construction industry (White Card)
- Hold unit of competency - RIISAM301, Test operational Functions of Vehicles and Equipment
- Hold unit of competency - PPFES2005, Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting Equipment (desirable)
- Hold unit of competency - RIIVEH305E, Operate & maintain a 4WD vehicle (desirable)
- Australian Driver's Licence
- Construction site experience, in a similar FIFO role, 2-3 years minimum
- Strong safety awareness
