About the Role:

KinCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to our elderly clients in their own homes. As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our clients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our clients have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and assistance with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our clients and their families, providing a sense of relief and comfort.
  • Provide social support and transport to appointments, ensuring our clients can access essential services and healthcare.
  • Deliver complex care to clients with high care needs, including dementia and other complex conditions.

Requirements:

  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential part of the role.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help from your Manager.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
