Job Title: Applied Technology Instructor

This role is a permanent full-time position at a reputable educational institution. The successful candidate will teach technology and applied studies to students.

The ideal candidate will have the necessary skills and qualifications to deliver engaging lessons and promote student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities include collaborating with faculty members, communicating effectively with students and staff, and establishing positive relationships to improve student results.

This role requires approval to teach technology mandatory (ITX Years 7-8) & industrial technology – timber (ITW).


Key Requirements:
  • Approval to teach technology mandatory (ITX Years 7-8) & industrial technology – timber (ITW)
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a faculty and across the school
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish positive working relationships
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education policies

Benefits:

The successful applicant may be eligible for a one-off recruitment payment.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach, you are required to commence the application process concurrently with your job application.

Applicants seeking either permanent full-time or permanent part-time employment are encouraged to apply. If the recommended applicant seeks part-time employment, they will be offered an appointment at their desired FTE. Applicants on the eligibility list will be offered the remaining FTE but are not obliged to accept.
