We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team as Lead Educators in residential aged care environments. As a Lead Educator, you will play a vital part in shaping and delivering high-quality care.
The role is responsible for providing best practice training and education to employees to ensure compliance with policies.
About Your New Role:- Assess and address staff development needs in line with mandatory training requirements and continuous improvement plans.
- Coordinate all training within the residential care facility.
- Enhance care quality and support staff growth by contributing to quality activities and auditing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Education lead.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to coordinate education and training programs.
- Deliver and evaluate training programs in line with the Training Matrix and other requirements.
- Monitor and update the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Provide reporting on compliance with mandatory training and other reporting as requested.
- Facilitate training sessions and/or programs.
- Develop training resources in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate orientation and induction programs, including mandatory requirements and competency assessments.
- Supervise and participate in the delivery of manual handling training.
- Work in accordance with Aged Care Codes of Conduct.
- Ensure safe and sound work practices that comply with Work, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Registered Nurse with minimum 3 years' experience in residential aged care environments.
- Experience working in a training and/or learning and development setting.
- Ability to manage time, set priorities, and plan workload to meet objectives.
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve agreed results and outcomes.
- Commitment to providing a customer-centric approach and delivery of key performance indicators.
