This position is part of the Property Management Unit at Townsville City Council, where you will provide expert technical advice on facilities management and project coordination. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the operational maintenance of Council's buildings and facilities is managed and completed within target and budget.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical advice on facilities management and project coordination
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and delivery plans
- Manage and coordinate contractors and stakeholders
- Conduct condition assessments and risk analysis
- Develop and manage budgets and financial reports
- Knowledge of project management and construction management processes
- Substantial experience in building and facilities management
- Demonstrated knowledge of building standards and legislations
- High level of facilities management skills
- Tertiary qualification in Property, Assets and Facilities Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil or Building Engineering or related disciplines
- Current 'C' class driver's licence
- 17.5% annual leave loading
