About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the completion and commissioning of the Kwinana Waste to Energy Project and will then relocate to Melbourne to support projects on the east coast of Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to Project Developers and Investors on Energy from Waste technologies, regulations, and limitations
  • Work with technology providers to review engineering designs and project proposals
  • Represent owners' interests in developing technical specifications, managing technical aspects of EPC procurement, and contracts
  • Review detailed designs of facilities being established
  • Provide oversight of construction and commissioning activities
  • Engage with all levels of government bodies to introduce the energy from waste industry to Australia
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years practical and relevant experience in energy or complex processes, preferably related to energy from waste or anaerobic digestion or similar industry with transferable skills
  • Ability to work in Australia
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a targeted focus on producing solutions
  • Proactive and flexible with a strong character not afraid to handle opposition when challenges arise
  • Team player with a natural ability to cooperate with colleagues from other areas of the business
  • Fast learner with the ability to build knowledge and develop new skills and capabilities on the job
  • Comfortable in speaking and writing English at a high professional level
