Oracle EPM Finance Functional Owner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle EPM Finance Functional Owner to lead the strategic direction, governance, and value realization of the Oracle EPM platform across all Finance modules.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), financial close, and reconciliation processes, as well as previous experience in implementing EPM solutions from the consulting industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and owning the EPM product functionality and feature roadmap, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of EPM solutions, and monitoring business outcomes and user satisfaction.

The role requires collaboration with finance subject matter experts (SMEs) and finance system accountants/business analysts to shape functional requirements, leading backlog grooming and governance forums with finance stakeholders, and prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value.

The successful candidate will also work with finance stakeholders to prioritize fixes and coordinate cross-team resolution efforts where required on system issues, and collaborate with digital teams to design interim workarounds, manage communications, and issue notifications to teams.

Key Requirements:

  • A Chartered accounting qualification
  • Previous experience in implementing EPM solutions from the consulting industry
  • Experience leading Oracle EPM or finance systems implementations
  • Product ownership or agile delivery experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
