About the Role:
In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our cement plant's equipment, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Unloading bulk tankers and loading vacuum blending tanks
- Operating drum shredders and bulk solids systems
- Deheading plastic IBC units
- Completing general housekeeping and forklift duties
The hours of work for this position are on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday, with overtime shifts available on Saturdays.
About You:
- Previous experience working in an operations role, ideally in the waste treatment or hazardous chemical industry
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Strong safety focus and good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
